Pittsburgh, PA December 21, 2009 – The Better Business Bureau announced a national partnership with J.D. Power and Associates to better assist consumers in their choices for auto dealers, insurance agents, home inspectors, movers and home builders.
The BBB, founded with a mission to see that all share in the opportunity of a fair and equitable marketplace, established this partnership to bring enhanced trust in the marketplace, improved product quality and consumer satisfaction.
This partnership permits the BBB’s web site linking to J.D. Power and Associates ratings on their Power Circle Ratings* and allows users to request a list of BBB Accredited Businesses found through J.D. Power and Associates’ web site. Consumers can access BBB’s list by linking to the BBB logo found in the bottom right corner of each J D Power webpage or when searching the different business categories listed at the J.D. Power and Associates web site.
“BBB and J.D. Power and Associates – among the best-known and most highly regarded consumer information organizations – now offer shoppers a one-stop resource to research customer satisfaction ratings and locate a BBB Accredited Business near their zip code,” said Warren King, president of the Better Business Bureau.
Your Better Business Bureau has long advised consumers to investigate before they invest. Purchasing a car and a home is a major investment. By teaming with J.D. Power and Associates, the BBB is continuing our mission to help consumers make better, more informed decisions.
